Books & Games For Literacy Skills

A regular donation of £3 a month provides us with the literacy games and reading resources we need teach a child how to read.

Reading Help For A Young Learner

A regular donation of £10 a month helps us provide a child with literacy support from volunteers and help2read staff.

Training For Disadvantaged Youth AND Tutors For Learners

A monthly donation of £20 enables us to train an unemployed township community member to be a Literacy Tutor, who in turn helps 12 children with their reading.

Literacy Support For An Entire School

A monthly donation of £35 helps us run a help2read literacy programme at a partner primary school.

With a once-off donation of £1,000 or more, you can help us provide an entire school with literacy support.

Your gift will cover:

  • The recruitment and training of volunteer reading helpers to assist children who are struggling to read in English at school
  • A refresher workshop and skills development programme for volunteers
  • Literacy materials: books, games, stationery for toolkits for pupils
  • Project maintenance and administration: the school will be serviced by help2read support staff who manage the relationship between help2read, the school administration and volunteers.
