Lehlabile (25), joined help2read in 2020,she is currently studying for her Bachelor of Education degree, with a focus on literacy and language development. Her experience with Help2read at Diepsloot Primary School with has further fueled her passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
“I have seen first-hand the impact that individualized support and attention can have on a child’s learning journey,” Lehlabile said. “It has reinforced my belief in the power of education to transform lives.”
As she continues her studies, Lehlabile plans to incorporate the valuable skills and insights she has gained from her work into her future teaching practice. She hopes to inspire her learners to love reading and learning as much as she does. “I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow through my experiences with Help2read,” Lehlabile shared. “I am excited to see where this journey takes me and how I can continue making a difference in the lives of young learners.”
