Promoting a love of reading in Soweto with Kaya FM

5 December, 2018

Earlier this year, help2read partnered with Kaya FM’s Kaya Cares to provide a sustainable literacy intervention programme in the new container library gifted to Entandweni Primary School in Soweto.

Since our partnership with Kaya Cares and Entandweni Primary School, 22 members from the community have already been trained, with 6 parents having already started providing reading support to Grade 2 learners in the library. We are thrilled to see the impact that’s already been achieved in the lives of young learners, and look forward to working with even more learners in 2019.
