Welcome to new schools, volunteers and learners who have joined help2read  in Mbekweni, near Paarl.  Travelling regularly from our Cape Town office to visit the new project, Melody Volmink, Trainer and Programme Coordinator, reports that the programme is going very well.  Our team reports, “When the volunteers at our two new schools were introduced to the children they would be helping, it was a beautiful sight to see — when the kids came out of their classrooms they were nervous and a bit shy.  Within half an hour all the children were wearing huge smiles on their faces.  Major credit to the new volunteers — they were amazing!  Warm, engaged and excited.”  Look out for more updates from Mbekweni!
