A wonderful and bright pupil

When this learner started on the program her biggest challenge was that she was French speaking. The teacher put her on the program because she could not read or spell in English and was reading at a very low grade level. By the end of term, she had progressed very well having not only benefited from help2read but also having adapted to her new environment. The volunteer said she now has more vocabulary in English and understands what she reads.

The English teacher said: “I am so happy with this learner’s progress, she now writes beautiful stories and can confidently read them out loud to the whole class. She never used to talk much in class, now she expresses herself very well”.
